Responsibilities

• HSE planning, safety management for high-rise and government projects.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans, procedures, and emergency response systems.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, client safety requirements, and regulations.
• Lead site safety operations and strive for a zero-incident culture.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, walks, and risk assessments across activities.
• Monitor compliance for work at height, scaffolding, lifting, excavation, and electrical safety.
• Ensure proper Permit to Work systems and safety controls.
• Identify unsafe acts/conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and prepare root cause analyses and reports.
• Close out safety observations and audit findings.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, drills, and training.
• Mentor safety officers and supervisors for effective HSE practices.
• Promote continuous safety improvements and workforce engagement.
• Maintain HSE documentation, permits, audits, and compliance registers.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and auditors.
• Prepare weekly/monthly HSE reports and dashboards.
• Ensure firefighting, evacuation, first aid, and rescue arrangements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

HSE Planning Safety Management

Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE plans, safety procedures, and emergency response systems for high-rise and government construction projects.

Ensure all project activities are executed in compliance with company HSE policies, client safety requirements, and statutory regulations.

Lead overall site safety operations and maintain a zero-incident safety culture across the project.

Site Safety Monitoring Compliance

Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, safety walks, and risk assessments across all construction activities.

Monitor compliance for work at height, scaffolding, lifting operations, excavation, confined space, hot work, electrical safety, and heavy equipment operations.

Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and safety control measures.

Risk Assessment Incident Management

Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis, and prepare detailed accident/near-miss reports.

Ensure effective closure of safety observations and audit findings.

Training Workforce Safety Awareness

Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, mock drills, emergency response training, and safety awareness programs.

Guide and mentor safety officers and supervisors for effective implementation of HSE practices.

Promote continuous safety improvement and workforce engagement initiatives.

Documentation Client Coordination

Maintain all HSE documentation including safety reports, permits, audit records, compliance registers, and statutory records.

Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, government authorities, and auditors during safety inspections and reviews.

Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports, presentations, and compliance dashboards for management review.

Emergency Preparedness Site Control

Ensure availability and maintenance of firefighting systems, emergency evacuation procedures, first aid facilities, and rescue arrangements.

Monitor housekeeping, worker welfare, barricading, signage, and overall site safety standards.

Ensure all construction equipment, scaffolding systems, lifting tools, and temporary structures meet safety compliance requirements.

Candidate Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Engineering with ADIS / PDIS / Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 5 to 15+ Years of experience in Construction Safety Management.

Excellent leadership, reporting, communication, and team management skills.
