Job summary

Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC) is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer for an industrial project site in Mundra, Gujarat. The role focuses on implementing rigorous safety standards, conducting inductions and toolbox talks, and ensuring strict PPE usage and risk mitigation on the industrial site.

The ideal candidate has 5–17 years in industrial safety, with Diploma in Industrial Safety mandatory and BE/BTech/Diploma as eligible education.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Industrial Safety is mandatory.
• 5-17 years of relevant experience in industrial projects.
• Experience in industrial building projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections, toolbox talks, safety inductions and training programs.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE, safety harnesses, lifelines, safety nets and other safety equipment.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and report findings.
• Maintain HSE documentation and safety reports and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
