Job summary

Acme Services Private Limited in Mumbai is seeking a Safety Officer to implement and enforce HSE policies at project sites. You will conduct daily safety inspections, prepare reports, and coordinate with project managers and contractors to address safety matters.

The role includes risk assessments, JSA, safety inductions, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with IS standards and statutory requirements across the project.

• Implement and enforce HSE policies at project sites.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and prepare safety reports.
• Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments / JSA.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs.
• Maintain safety records, permits, registers, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with IS standards, Factory Act, BOCW Act, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors, and site teams on safety matters.
• Liaise with government authorities during safety audits and inspections.
• Monitor safety practices of contractors and ensure corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents/near-misses and recommend preventive and corrective measures.
• Promote safety awareness and ensure a safe working environment across the project.
