Job summary

Hubert Enviro Care Systems is seeking an HSE professional in Chennai to lead risk assessments, implement corrective actions, and ensure safe practices around workers and heavy equipment. The role involves monitoring PPE, conducting toolbox talks, inductions, and enforcing site safety procedures.

You will also implement fire prevention, emergency response, and waste management standards, perform regular safety inspections, and investigate incidents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RA/HIRA and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safe working practices around workers, heavy machinery, equipment, and hazardous chemicals.
• Monitor PPE compliance, toolbox talks, safety inductions, and site safety procedures.
• Implement fire prevention, emergency response, and workplace safety protocols.
• Ensure environmental health, hygiene, housekeeping, and waste management standards.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, hot work, lifting, confined space, and electrical work.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain HSE documentation, inspection reports, and statutory safety records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE and statutory requirements.
