Job summary

NITYO seeks an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. This contract role is based in Bangalore or Hyderabad, offering 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails and related technologies.

You will build RESTful APIs, optimize performance, collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement CI/CD practices, and mentor junior developers while upholding coding standards and security guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: BE / BTech / MTech / MCA / MSc.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails (5.x/6.x/7.x).
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, microservices, PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Proficient in Git, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Redis, and background jobs (Sidekiq/Resque).
• Solid knowledge of OOP, design patterns, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Nice-to-have: React.js, Angular, AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile/Scrum.
• Contract-based role with 2-3 openings in Bangalore/Hyderabad.
