Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and ERB templates
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices
• Work with PostgreSQL for data modeling and efficient queries
• Collaborate with team members via GitHub, managing branches, pull requests, and code reviews
• Integrate and experiment with AI tools and APIs to deliver intelligent features
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decisions

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
• Proficiency in ERB templating, HTML, CSS, and responsive design
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and complex queries
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows and CI/CD processes
• Working knowledge of AI tools/APIs (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face) and how they can be integrated into web apps
• Ability to write well-tested, well-documented code

• Experience with background job processing (Sidekiq, Resque)
