Job summary

Aerolens is seeking onsite Senior Ruby on Rails engineers for Ahmedabad/Bengaluru with 2 open positions. You will design architectures for Rails-based microservices and monoliths, lead technical discussions, and drive performance improvements.

You will mentor teammates, coordinate with product, UX, and QA, and ensure robust deployment pipelines across Docker and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software, strong leadership, and deep database optimization experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years in Ruby on Rails.
• Proven track record designing high-performance distributed systems.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sidekiq for background jobs.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams.

What you will do

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years specializing in Ruby on Rails.
• Proven track record of designing and architecting high-performance distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of database optimization, particularly PostgreSQL, Redis caching, and background job processing with Sidekiq.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployment services.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring and running technical teams.
