Job summary

Cegeka is seeking a Ruby on Rails Software Engineer to work on an ERP migration and multi-platform integration project for a US-based building technology client. The role involves enhancing and maintaining an existing production Ruby on Rails application and developing integrations with third-party platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Strong Ruby on Rails development experience.
• Object-Oriented Design and Development.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of C/C++, C#, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience with Sidekiq/ActiveJob, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Redis.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure, ERP/CRM integrations, data migration/ETL, and Capistrano.
• Understanding of TDD, BDD, software design patterns, refactoring, and performance/concurrency testing.
• Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and macOS.
• Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
