Orcapod Consulting Services in Hyderabad is seeking a finance professional with deep month-close expertise to lead and guide a team on accounting processes. The role requires strong SAP and Blackline knowledge, as well as hands-on Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint skills to support reporting and data analysis.

You will interact with management and stakeholders, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate financial close with timely reporting.

Qualification & experience

• B. Com, M. Com, Inter CA (Any finance qualification)

1. Subject matter expert with strong understanding of month close accounting
2. Expert knowledge of SAP and other tools like Blackline etc.
3. Must have good hands‑on experience on Microsoft Excel/PPT/Power BI
4. Requires a proactive approach and verbal / written communication.
5. Should have strong interpersonal skill to interact with Management, Stakeholder, and peers effectively. 00A0
6. Ability to communicate and document problems, resolutions, and action plans.
7. Metric driven mind set

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for Month close processes – Review of Journal entry preparation, general ledger account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, intercompany accounting, cash & bank accounting, financial reporting etc.

1. Responsible for guiding the team on matters related to policy and procedures.
2. Prepare audit schedule and coordination with the auditors, as required.
3. Drive business metric improvement in Record to report area
4. Responsible for delivering on SLA/KPIs
5. Responsible for driving productivity & process transformation & efficiencies by generating & executing ideas.
