upGrad is seeking a Regional Training Manager to lead in-store training for premium watches and jewelry across India, based in Bengaluru. You will elevate product knowledge, selling skills, and premium customer experience through structured programs and regular assessments.

The role requires 4–5 years of hands-on training experience with premium brands, strong facilitation and presentation skills, excellent English and local language proficiency, and willingness to travel 12–15 days per month.

Job Purpose

To drive training and development initiatives for premium retail teams, enhance product knowledge and selling capabilities, and ensure a consistent luxury customer experience across retail stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-store training sessions for retail sales associates and store teams across premium retail outlets.
• Deliver training on product knowledge, selling skills, customer engagement, grooming, and premium customer experience.
• Develop and execute training plans based on business requirements and retail team capability gaps.
• Ensure effective implementation of training programs and assess their impact on employee performance.
• Collaborate with store managers and regional stakeholders to identify training needs and improve sales effectiveness.
• Support new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand-specific training initiatives.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and regular follow-ups.
• Maintain training attendance, reports, feedback, and other relevant MIS.
• Travel across India for conducting training sessions at retail stores and ensuring consistent training standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 4–5 years of hands‑on in-store training experience with premium retail brands.
• Preferred Industry: Premium watches and jewellery brands. Candidates from these segments should be prioritised during screening.
• Local Market Knowledge: Must be based in the respective hiring city and possess a good understanding of the local retail market.
• Age Criteria: Maximum 35 years.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication in English and the relevant local language. Hindi and Kannada proficiency will be preferred/required as per the assigned location.
• Personality: Mature, confident, energetic, proactive, and professional, with the ability to engage premium retail teams effectively.
• Training Skills: Strong facilitation, presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Travel: Must be comfortable travelling Pan-India for approximately 12–15 days per month.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates currently working as Retail Trainers, Brand Trainers, or In-store Training Specialists with premium watch or jewellery brands will be preferred.

Experience in luxury or premium retail environments, strong product-training capabilities, and the ability to influence frontline sales teams are essential.
