Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Bengaluru is seeking an RTL design engineer to translate system requirements into micro-architectures and implement them in Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL. You will perform linting, CDC checks, and contribute to FPGA prototyping and post-silicon debugging.

The role requires a 2+ year background in digital design, with strong knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, and digital fundamentals. Familiarity with I2C/SPI/UART interfaces is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or VLSI.
• Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and digital fundamentals.
• Experience with EDA tools for linting, synthesis, and CDC.
• Familiarity with I2C, SPI, UART interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into micro-architectures and write Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL.
• Perform linting, CDC analysis, and formal equivalence checks.
• Assist FPGA prototyping, lab testing, and post-silicon debugging.
• DV and AMS: basic RTL DV using Python-based flows and AMS test cases.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

• Micro-Architecture & Coding: Translate high-level system requirements into detailed micro-architectures and write clean, modular Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL.
• Quality & Checks: Perform linting, Clock-Domain Crossing (CDC) analysis, and formal equivalence checks.
• Silicon Bring-Up: Assist with FPGA prototyping, lab testing, and post-silicon root-cause debugging.
• Digital DV and AMS : Basic DV of the RTL using python based flow, and writing digital specific AMS testcases

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or VLSI with 2+ Year of Experience.
• Deep proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog, and digital fundamentals.
• Tools: Experience with EDA tools for linting, synthesis, and CDC (added advantage).
• Protocols: Familiarity with standard serial interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART etc.
