Job summary

HDFC Bank Limited in Chennai invites applications for the RTFX-Trade & Forex Sales Manager role to drive growth in international trade and forex products.

You will lead joint branch visits, ensure regulatory compliance with FEMA/RBI, and partner with branch staff to acquire new customers, activate existing portfolios, and maximize revenue from the RTFX suite.

Extensive travel is required to cover mapped branches across the region.

Responsibilities

• New Customer Acquisition: conduct branch visits to pitch RTFX products and ensure regulatory due diligence.
• Activation of Existing Customers on RTFX: train branch staff and visit to activate customers on RTFX products.
• Retention of Customers Availing RTFX Products: ensure seamless delivery, prevent poaching, and monitor compliance risks.
• Business Development: achieve RTFX income targets, activate portfolios, identify opportunities, and support marketing promotions.
• Maximising Revenue: negotiate pricing, rationalize customer-specific pricing, and promote forward cover solutions.
• Documentation & Approvals: guide customers on documentation, resolve deficiencies, and obtain approvals for deviations.
