Job summary

Intelgic Technologies in Kolkata is seeking a robotics engineer to develop and program robotic systems using Python and/or C++, with hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience. You will work on control, navigation, motion planning, and automation, integrating sensors and actuators to deliver reliable robotic solutions.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software teams, write technical documentation, and contribute to simulation work with Gazebo, RViz, Isaac Sim, or Webots.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in robotics, automation, or robotics software development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
  • Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2.
  • Knowledge of robotics concepts including kinematics, dynamics, control systems, navigation, and motion planning.
  • Experience with robotic sensors, actuators, motors, cameras, LiDAR, or IMU.
  • Good knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu and Git/GitHub.
  • Familiarity with OpenCV, computer vision, AI/ML, or autonomous systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with embedded systems and communication protocols is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and program robotic systems using Python and/or C++.
