Job summary

RWS is seeking a Risk Mitigation Specialist to ensure compliance across recruitment and onboarding in the AI space. You will analyze data to detect suspicious activity, conduct investigations, and implement preventative measures to keep illegitimate activity to a minimum.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to handle high-volume workflows, and collaboration with Talent Finders to raise fraud awareness and mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a relevant role.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical skills, reliable and systematic.
• Ability to work with data, analyze it and draw relevant conclusions / provide recommendations and reports.
• Able to execute in a high-volume, fast paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Detect and identify fraudulent activities through data analysis and trend examination.
• Engage in constant monitoring and evaluation of applications transactions to pinpoint irregularities.
• Collaborating with Talent Finders to assist colleagues in fraud awareness, risk mitigation and prevention.
• Conducting in-depth investigations into identified fraud instances
• Investigate flagged transactions to determine their legitimacy
• Review data and conduct analysis to decide upon the viability of new fraud rules
• Contact applicants to verify suspicious transactions and gather necessary information
• Document and maintain detailed records of all investigations and actions taken
