Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Ribbon SBC Engineer to support, manage, and optimize Ribbon SBC infrastructure in a complex enterprise/UCC environment. You will handle L2/L3 support, troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance to ensure high availability and secure voice services.

Responsibilities include monitoring SBC performance, incident and problem management, RCA when needed, and deployment activities such as new deployments, migrations, and upgrades while maintaining SLA/KPI compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in SBC/network environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Ribbon SBC (Sonus SBC 1000/2000/5000 series).
• Monitor SBC performance, availability and capacity.
• Handle incident and problem management and service requests.
• Perform RCA for voice and signaling issues.
• Ensure SLA/KPI compliance.
• Configure and manage SIP trunks, dial plans, routing policies, TLS/SRTP configurations.
• Support new deployments, migrations and upgrades.

The role involves L2/L3 support, troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of Ribbon (Sonus) SBC platforms to ensure high availability, security, and performance of voice services.

Operations & Support

• Provide L2/L3 support for Ribbon SBC (Sonus SBC 1000/2000/5000 series)
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity of SBC infrastructure
• Handle incident management, problem management, and service requests
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for voice and signaling issues
• Ensure adherence to SLA/KPI compliance

Configuration & Implementation

• Configure and manage:
• SIP trunks, dial plans, routing policies
• Transformation tables (SIP header manipulation)
• TLS/SRTP configurations for secure communication
• Support new deployments, migrations, and upgrades
