Job summary

VVDN Technologies is seeking an RF Engineer to design, develop, test, and optimize RF circuits and systems. You will collaborate with hardware, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure performance and reliability, while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

The role involves hands-on design of RF components, test plan creation, and continuous learning to keep up with evolving RF technology and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design RF circuits including amplifiers, filters, oscillators and matching networks.
• Integrate RF components into larger system architectures with cross-functional teams.
• Develop test plans and procedures for RF performance evaluation and troubleshoot issues.
• Optimize RF performance parameters such as gain, noise figure, linearity and efficiency.
• Ensure EMI/EMC compliance through design techniques and testing methodologies.
• Prepare design documentation including schematics, layouts, BOMs and test reports.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, firmware and manufacturing teams to meet project goals.
• Stay updated on RF technology and regulatory requirements to enhance designs.

Role & responsibilities

As an RF Engineer at VVDN, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization of radio frequency (RF) circuits and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of RF components into various products, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

• RF Circuit Design: Design RF circuits, including amplifiers, filters, oscillators, and matching networks, using simulation tools and analysis techniques.
  
• RF System Integration: Integrate RF components into larger system architectures, collaborating with hardware, software, and firmware teams to meet overall product requirements.
  
• Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and procedures for RF performance evaluation, conduct testing, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  
• RF Performance Optimization: Optimize RF performance parameters such as gain, noise figure, linearity, and power efficiency through design iterations and experimentation.
  
• EMI/EMC Compliance: Ensure RF circuits and systems comply with electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards through design techniques and testing methodologies.
  
• Documentation: Prepare design documentation, including schematics, layouts, Bill of Materials (BOM), test reports, and compliance records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, firmware, and manufacturing, to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality products on schedule.
  
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements in RF technology, industry trends, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to enhance product designs and development processes.
