Job summary

Axiscades Engineering Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an RF Design Engineer to develop RF circuitry and mixed signal boards. You will model electromagnetic behaviour with HFSS, design power amplifiers, RF switches, and tunable filters, and perform RF testing in labs and field environments.

The role requires a BE/B Tech in Electronics & Communications, with knowledge of MIL-461E EMI/EMC standards and ruggedization.

Qualifications

• BE/B Tech in Electronics & Communications is required.
• Strong understanding of RF principles and practical RF design experience.
• Experience with HFSS modelling and RF circuit/page analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand RF principles and design RF circuitry and systems.
• Create radio frequency circuitry design, mixed signal boards and components.
• Model electromagnetic behaviour using HFSS and analyze signal propagation.
• Design power amplifiers, combiners, splitters and RF switches.
• Perform RF power budget calculations and impedance matching checks.
• Apply EMI/EMC knowledge and MIL standards in defense/aerospace contexts.
• Test RF components, PA devices in labs and field tests; debug RF systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF tech into devices.
• Tackle problems with strong analytical skills and attention to ruggedization standards.

• BE/B Tech in Electronics & Communications

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding of RF principles
• Create radio frequency circuitry design, mixed signal board design, components, and systems.
• Proficiency in using HFSS software to model electromagnetic behaviour and analyse signal propagation.
• Design of Power Amplifies, Combiners, splitters and RF switches.
• RF Power budget understanding & calculation.
• Design Knowledge ESM , Direction finding and ECM systems,
• Testing of RF components, power amplifier and devices in laboratory, anechoic chambers, and field tests to analyse and debug RF systems.
• Good knowledge on VSWR, impedance matching, Noise figure and S-Parameters testing.
• Design of tuneable RF filters.
• Troubleshooting interference.
• Mandatory knowledge on EMI/EMC and testing.
• Actively participate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF technology into defence and aerospace devices.
