Job summary

DSE Technologies in India is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to lead design, simulation, testing and compliance for advanced RF systems, including cellular, radar, satellite components, and TRX modules.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, mechanical and manufacturing teams to drive integration, documentation, BOMs, test reports, and production readiness, while keeping pace with RF technology advancements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an RF Design Engineer.
• Strong expertise in RF Circuit Design and Antenna Design, including Power Amplifiers, Exciters, Active & Passive RF circuits.
• Proficiency with RF simulation tools: HFSS, ADS, CST (mandatory).
• Hands-on RF measurement techniques and lab equipment: Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter & Signal Generator.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements (FCC, ETSI, MIL-STD, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design & develop RF circuits, components and systems including Active & Passive designs, TRX modules, Radar, Satellite systems, and Antennas.
• Simulate & Analyze using HFSS, ADS, CST and other microwave tools for optimization.
• Test & Troubleshoot RF performance using Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, and Signal Generators.
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory and safety standards; collaborate with compliance teams.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, mechanical, and production teams for system integration and documentation of design specs, test reports and BOMs.
• Stay updated with advancements in RF technology and industry standards.

Role & responsibilities:

• Design & Develop: Create RF circuits, components, and systems including Active & Passive designs, Cell Phone Jammers, TRX modules, Radar, Satellite systems, and Antennas.
• Simulate & Analyze: Use HFSS, ADS, CST, and other microwave tools for simulation, analysis, and design optimization.
• Test & Troubleshoot: Perform RF performance testing using Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Signal Generators, and other lab instruments to validate, debug, and optimize designs.
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure systems meet relevant global regulatory and safety standards. Work with compliance and certification teams as needed.
• Collaborate: Coordinate with software, hardware, mechanical, and production teams for system integration and manufacturing support. Document: Prepare design specifications, test reports, BOMs, simulation documentation, and all technical records.
• Stay Updated: Track advancements in RF technology, simulation tools, antennas, EMC/EMI standards, and industry innovations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong expertise in RF Circuit Design and Antenna Design, including: Power Amplifiers, Exciters, Active & Passive RF circuits.
• Proficiency with RF simulation tools: HFSS, ADS, CST (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with RF measurement techniques and lab equipment:
• Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter & Signal Generator. Strong understanding of frequency spectrum analysis and RF signal behaviour.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements (FCC, ETSI, MIL-STD, etc.).

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
