Responsibilities

• Convert registered point clouds into accurate Revit BIM models.
• Produce drawings/models in AutoCAD & Revit from point cloud data.
• Model existing building geometry directly from point-cloud data.
• Produce plans, elevations and sections.
• Check completed models against the point cloud.
• Identify unclear or missing survey information instead of making assumptions.
• Coordinate Revit and AutoCAD information.
• Maintain good model organization and drawing standards.
• Deliver work accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Revit BIM Modeler with Scan-to-BIM / Point Cloud experience.

The role mainly involves creating architectural Revit models and converting point cloud survey into accurate Revit models.

Key skills

• Strong experience & knowledge in Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD
• Proven Scan-to-BIM / Point Cloud to Revit experience
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Recap
• Experience working with RCP, RCS, E57, LAS/LAZ point-cloud formats
• Ability to accurately prepare existing & proposed model
• Ability to produce accurate floor plans, elevations and sections
• Good understanding of architectural construction and existing building conditions
• Strong attention to dimensional accuracy and detail

Role & responsibilities
