Job summary

Alstom in Delhi is seeking a full-time Interface Manager to lead coordination between Rolling Stock systems and other project components.

You will prepare Interface Management Plans, coordinate with system-wide and civil contractors, and ensure timely resolution of interface issues, supporting testing and commissioning to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
• Minimum of 10 years in interface coordination and management of Rolling Stock systems
• Experience in driverless metro projects (Grade of Automation 4)
• Knowledge of metro Rolling Stock system integration, testing and commissioning
• Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships with customers, contractors and stakeholders
• Proven leadership, accountability and teamwork abilities
• Understanding of interface functions and milestone tracking

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your system interface expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination between the Rolling Stock systems and other critical project components. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Project Management, Engineering, and Support Functions such as Financing, Tax, Legal, Insurance, and Marketing & Pricing), collaborate with external stakeholders (such as contractors, government agencies, and partners), and oversee interface management activities to achieve project milestones.

You’ll specifically take care of preparing and managing Interface Management Plans, coordinating with designated contractors, and ensuring integration of design and manufacturing activities, but also contribute to testing and commissioning efforts.

We’ll look to you for:

• Preparing and managing Interface Management Plans and associated documentation
• Coordinating interface activities with system-wide contractors, civil contractors, and consultants
• Ensuring timely communication and resolution of interface issues with stakeholders
• Overseeing the integration of signaling, telecom, and power supply systems with Rolling Stock
• Facilitating the testing and commissioning of Rolling Stock systems
