Job summary

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. is seeking a Merchandiser to lead merchandise assortment planning across stores, set ARP targets for product categories, and formulate seasonal stock-to-sale plans.

The role involves coordinating with sourcing, VM and design for successful IGTM execution and ensuring timely replenishment based on sales data. You will track inventory, manage base stock changes, and generate weekly and monthly sales and stock reports to drive assortment decisions and store

Key Result Areas

Supporting Actions

Assist in Merchandise assortment plan for all stores

• Create appropriate assortment plan for assigned category as per Sales targets
• Set ARP targets for product categories
• Create Option plan and conduct depth analysis
• Formulate Stock to Sale plan for a season – EOM / BOM

Provide inputs for Monthly Target setting in each category

• Breaking up of Monthly targets into product category
• Target Vs achievement
• Merchandise plan report
• Product performance Lk2Lk

Tracking Inventory Management Process

• Ensure Ideal stock cover for each product category is maintained
• Dormancy within specified norms
• Pullback within specified norms
• Sell thru reports on Excel for Week1, week2 sales

Being a custodian in formulating the Stock & sale plan

• Product category wise dispatch plan
• Planned Vs actual
• Allocation plan for each store as per dispatch plan and size wise analysis
• Tracking allocation vs. actual dispatches

Integrated Go To Market (IGTM)

• Planning for a successful IGTM story along with VM and design
• Dressing up one key store for the look
• Roll – out across stores

Base stock Management

• Carrying out base stock changes as per sale trend and request from stores.
• Aligning offline base stock with ARS (Online) for effective replenishment.
• Resolving issues pertaining to ARS with IT.

MIS

• Produce monthly and weekly sales and stock reports.
• Producing & Analyzing various review formats – Top & Bottom sellers, Sell Thru, New Product performance
