Job summary

Belhem India Pvt Ltd in Bangalore North, India, is seeking an experienced Architectural Interior Designer to lead layout development for restaurant and retail concepts. You'll create detailed layouts, drawings, and 3D visuals, coordinate with landlords, engineers, and vendors, and ensure designs comply with brand standards and local regulations while delivering on time and within budget.

Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and MS Office is essential, along with site validation, BOQ

Qualifications

• Graduation or diploma in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant/retail designing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office and 3D visualization software.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed restaurant layouts and first-cut spatial designs aligned with brand standards.
• Prepare comprehensive GFC (Good for Construction), MEP, civil, cabinetry, signage, and brand-specific technical drawings.
• Coordinate with internal teams, landlords, site engineers, business development, and external consultants.
• Review vendor shop drawings, manage material quality checks, process SAP entries, and track site material delivery.
• Ensure designs comply with strict brand guidelines, mall regulations, and local statutory norms.
• Conduct site visits to verify measurements, prepare accurate BOQs, and create final As-Built drawings.
• Support cost-saving value engineering initiatives while maintaining design quality and timelines.
• Maintain updated project documentation and revision history logs shared across the project drive.

• Layout & Concept Development: Create detailed restaurant layouts, first-cut spatial designs, and creative interior concepts aligned with brand standards.


• Technical Working Drawings: Prepare comprehensive GFC (Good for Construction), MEP, civil, cabinetry, signage, and brand-specific technical drawings.


• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal teams, landlords, site engineers, business development, and external consultants.


• Vendor & Material Management: Review vendor shop drawings, manage material quality checks, process SAP entries, and track site material delivery.


• Compliance & Brand Standards: Ensure all designs comply with strict brand guidelines, operational goals, mall regulations, and local statutory norms.


• Site Validation & Estimation: Conduct site visits to verify physical measurements, prepare accurate BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and create final As-Built drawings.


• Value Engineering & Project Support: Support cost-saving value engineering initiatives while maintaining high design quality and project timelines.


• Documentation & Tracking: Maintain updated project documentation, revision history logs, and master tracker sheets shared across the project drive.
  

Requirements

Graduation or Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design

Min 5 years of experience in Restaurant /Retail Designing

Good knowledge in Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop, Microsoft Office and 3D visualization software
