Job summary

CBM India in Bengaluru is seeking a dedicated Face to Face Fundraiser for a full-time, on-site position. You will engage with the public, present CBM India’s mission, and inspire donors through regular giving or one-time contributions.

You will maintain donor information, strive to meet fundraising targets, and participate in training to stay aligned with campaigns and ethical outreach. Prior experience is welcome but not mandatory, with emphasis on communication and inclusion.

• Goal-oriented mindset with the capacity to work toward fundraising targets and manage time effectively.
• Comfort working in outdoor and public settings, including approaching people face to face and handling occasional rejection professionally.
• Commitment to disability inclusion, human rights, and ethical fundraising practices.
• Proficiency in English, additional language skills are an advantage.
• Prior experience in fundraising, sales, customer service, or community outreach is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum educational qualification: any graduate; a diploma or degree in social work, communications, marketing, or related fields is an added benefit.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow organizational processes and reporting requirements.

Role Description The Face to Face Fundraiser is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. In this position, the fundraiser engages directly with potential donors in public spaces, events, and corporate or institutional settings to present CBM India’s mission and programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include approaching and informing individuals about CBM India’s work, answering questions, and inspiring sustained financial support through regular giving or one-time donations. The role involves maintaining accurate donor information, meeting individual and team fundraising targets, and reporting daily activities and outcomes to the supervisor. The fundraiser also participates in training sessions, briefings, and team meetings to stay updated on campaigns and ensure ethical, respectful, and inclusive communication with all members of the public.
