Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Resident Engineer - Quality (QA/QC) for the HEO 240 MW Hydro Electric Project in Arunachal Pradesh. You will ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan, ITPs and relevant standards across civil, tunneling and structural works.

The role requires about 8 years of experience in QA/QC for large-scale civil projects, with hands-on material testing, site inspections and NCR/CAPA management.

Qualifications

• ~8 years of experience in QA/QC for civil projects.
• Experience with civil, tunneling and structural works.
• Knowledge of ITPs, NCRs, and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Quality Enforcement: Implement the Project Quality Plan, ITPs, and standards across civil, tunneling, and structural works.
• Material & Lab Testing: Oversee testing of cement, steel, aggregates, and concrete for compliance.
• Site Inspections: Monitor activities like deep excavation, rock bolting, shotcreting, and heavy concreting.
• NCR Management: Issue non-conformance reports and track corrective actions (CAPA).
• Documentation: Maintain quality records, test registers, pour cards, and audit docs.
• Coordination: Collaborate with client and contractor teams to secure sign-offs and resolve discrepancies.
