Job summary

Tagoor Laboratories in India is seeking a chemist to scout routes from literature, identify cost-effective approaches, and develop safe, scalable processes for new molecules. You will execute and monitor multiple reactions and mentor junior chemists while refining purification and analytical methods.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience with 1H NMR/LCMS/HPLC/GC data interpretation, and a hands-on approach to achieving higher yield and quality during development and tech

Responsibilities

• Route scouting through literature
• Selection of cost-effective routes
• Safe and cost-effective process development of new molecules
• Execution & monitoring of multiple reactions
• Able to guide the junior/training chemist
• Knowledge and good hands on purifications techniques like recrystallization
• Interpretation of analytical data (1H NMR, LCMS, HPLC, GC)
• Knowledge and controlling the process & process related impurities during the development
• Identification of plausible impurities from LCMS/1H NMR
• Chemistry Problem solving skills
• Preparation & Evaluation of structural characterization reports
• Preparation of PD and TT reports
• Supporting the Technology Transfer team
• Experience on yield and quality improvement of the molecules
