Job summary

SPERTON India - Where Great People Meet is seeking an experienced embedded systems professional to design and develop hardware and firmware for our products. You will lead schematic capture, board layout, and prototype testing while coordinating with technicians and engineers through development, testing, and certification stages.

Qualifications

• BE / MTech in Electrical/Electronics with 8–15 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital design, schemantic capture and board layout.
• Familiarity with electronic communication protocols (WIFI, USB, Bluetooth).
• Experience in embedded systems design and programming.
• Certification course in C programming / Embedded systems (6 months) is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded systems for hardware and firmware.
• Prototype testing and analysis.
• Programming and debugging embedded systems firmware.
• Develop production test specifications and procedures.
• Prepare bill of materials.
• Train and guide a team of hardware technicians and firmware engineers.
• Oversee schematic, layout design, testing, reliability testing, and firmware development before field trials and mass production.
• Use simulation software to validate circuits.
• Perform design robustness analyses (FMEA, Product Risk Analysis).
• Support testing labs for EMI, EMC, IEC, CE compliance.
• Assist in documentation for product certifications (US FDA / CE Marking).
• Contribute to prototype and reliability tests.

Design and develop embedded systems for our products both Hardware and Firmware

Detailed knowledge of analog and digital design including schemantic capture and board layout

Learn common electronic communicaon protocols (such as WIFI, USB, Bluetooth)

Good amount of core experience in the field of embedded systems design and programming

or must have completed 6months certified course in C programming / Embedded systems

Prototype testing and analysis

Programming and debugging embedded systems firmware

Development of production test specifications and procedures

Preparation of bill of materials

Train & guide a team of hardware technicians & Firmware engineers for product development

in terms of schemantic, layout design, sample testing, reliability testing, Firmware development

before field trials & mass production

Use of simulation software’s to validate circuits

Perform the design robustness analyses (FMEA, Product Risk Analysis)

Help testing team conduct tests @ Labs for EMI, EMC, IEC, CE compliance

Help Develop the documentaion necessary for product certifications US FDA / CE Marking

Participate to create prototype & reliability tests
