Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC is seeking an Embedded Design & Development engineer in India. Responsibilities include hardware design, system integration, and prototype testing, with hands-on use of oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Knowledge of Matlab and signal processing is essential, with BE required and 0-1 years of experience. The role involves design, testing, and collaboration with production centers and QC during prototype development, and knowledge of MIL standards

Qualifications

• BE in engineering or equivalent.
• 0–1 years of experience in embedded design & development.
• Knowledge of signal processing and Matlab programming.

Responsibilities

• Embedded hardware design & development.
• System integration and testing for prototypes.
• Prepare design drawings and wiring charts.
• Provide support to production centers and QC during prototypes.
• Carry out design and integration activities on factory premises and during field trials.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD 5555/ MIL STD 810 and MIL STD 461E/F EMI/EMC standards.

Job Description

Function: Embedded Design & Development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

• Embedded Hardware Design & Development

Signal processing knowledge - Matlab programming

System integration, testing. Aware about & hands-on Measuring instruments - such as Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyser, JTAG programming tools

Conceptualize and generate design of Module level electronics schemes for controllers, units, for new products/ prototype development.

Perform Design and integration activities for new product development and prototype requirement.

Conduct detail engineering of units and selection of elements, sub assembly based on safety, maintainability, ruggedization level and other relevant environment, EMI/EMC and electrical standards

Prepare detailed design drawings such as Schematic designs, wiring charts.

Create unit level test plan and carrying testing of prototype units

Support to Production centers & QC department for execution of Prototype development.

Execute design & integration activities during within Factory premises and field trials.

Understanding of Environmental MIL Standards such as JSS 55555/MIL STD 810, EMI-EMC standards such as MIL STD 461E/F.
