Overview

As part of our growth, we are seeking a skilled Research and Development Executive to lead product development and set up production lines for scalable manufacturing.

Responsibilities

1. Product Development:
   • Design and develop rubber and silicone products, including tubes, hoses, FBD gaskets, profiles, and molded components.
   • Innovate and optimize rubber and silicone compounding formulations to meet specific application needs.
   • Conduct trials and validations to ensure product quality, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
2. Production Line Setup:
   • Plan, design, and implement production lines for manufacturing rubber and silicone products.
   • Identify, source, and oversee the installation of required machinery and equipment.
   • Ensure seamless integration of production lines into the overall manufacturing workflow.
3. Process Optimization:
   • Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce waste.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve production-related challenges to ensure smooth operations.
4. Tooling and Machinery Maintenance:
   • Design and maintain molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures for production.
   • Ensure the proper functioning of machinery and recommend upgrades as necessary.
   • Stay updated on industry trends, advanced materials, and emerging technologies in rubber and silicone manufacturing.
   • Drive R&D initiatives to develop new products and improve existing ones.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
   • Maintain detailed records of formulations, process trials, equipment specifications, and production workflows.
   • Provide regular reports to the CEO on project progress, production efficiency, and innovation outcomes.
   • Work closely with production, quality assurance, and sales teams to align R&D efforts with company objectives.
   • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and process improvement across departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing rubber and silicone products, including tubes, hoses, FBD gaskets, profiles, and molded components.
• Expertise in setting up production lines, including machinery selection, installation, and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of rubber compounding, silicone extrusion, molding processes, and tooling design.
• Ability to troubleshoot production and machinery-related issues effectively.
• Strong project management skills with a focus on achieving timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Degree/Diploma in Polymer Science, Rubber Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break)
