Job summary

Taluncrunch Advisory is seeking an experienced rubber technology specialist to lead compound development, process optimization, and new product introductions for oil seals and other rubber molded products.

You will collaborate with production, quality, tool room and supply chain to improve quality, productivity and cost efficiency, while mentoring junior engineers and technicians in an ISO/IATF environment.

Qualifications

• - Strong knowledge of rubber compounding and polymer chemistry.
• - Hands-on experience with compression, transfer and injection moulding processes.
• - Knowledge of Elastomers & Thermoplastics.
• - Familiarity with rubber testing methods, rheology, hardness, tensile, elongation, ageing and compression set testing.
• - Ability to solve manufacturing and quality-related technical issues.
• - Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• - Experience working in an ISO -certified manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize rubber compounds for industrial and automotive applications.
• Formulate compounds using NR, NBR, EPDM, FKM (Viton), Silicone, CR, HNBR and other elastomers.
• Lead new product development from concept to production.
• Troubleshoot compounding, mixing, moulding and curing issues.
• Drive quality, productivity and cost improvement initiatives.
• Conduct laboratory testing and interpret results.-set up R n D lab
• Support customer approvals and resolve technical complaints.
• Prepare formulations, SOPs, validation reports, APQP and technical documentation (PPAP).
• Work with Production, Quality, Tool Room and Supply Chain.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF and customer requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Job description

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize rubber compounds for industrial and automotive applications.
• Formulate compounds using NR, NBR, EPDM, FKM (Viton), Silicone, CR, HNBR and other elastomers.
• Lead new product development from concept to production.
• Troubleshoot compounding, mixing, moulding and curing issues.

Qualifications

- B.Tech/M.Tech in Rubber Technology, Polymer Technology or Polymer Engineering.
- Chemical/Materials Engineering with extensive rubber industry experience may also be considered.
