Job summary

biotek india seeks a cosmetics formulation specialist to develop and optimize colors cosmetics including lipsticks, foundations, eyeliners, mascaras and lip glosses.

Responsibilities cover lab trials, raw material evaluation, stability testing and troubleshooting, with close collaboration with QC and Production to ensure GMP compliance and smooth scale-up to production. Innovative ideas for new formulations are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Formulation development of cosmetics
• Experience in lipstick, foundation, eyeliner, mascara formulations
• Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and emulsions
• Analytical testing and stability assessment
• Troubleshooting formulation issues
• Maintaining test records and specifications
• Support for New Product Development (NPD) from lab trials to scale-up
• Coordination with QC and Production teams
• Ensuring GMP and regulatory compliance
• Generating new ideas for product improvement

• Perform formulation testing, stability evaluation, and product performance assessment.
• Troubleshoot formulation issues and optimize products according to desired specifications.
• Maintain accurate formulation records, trial reports, specifications, and R&D documentation.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) from laboratory trials through scale-up and production.
• Coordinate with QC, Production, and other departments for successful product development.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, GMP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Contribute new ideas for improving existing products and developing innovative formulations
