Job summary

SBI Capital Markets Ltd. in Mumbai is seeking an experienced research professional to lead industry, macro, and company analysis across infrastructure, BFSI, renewables, and data centres.

You will conduct desktop research, build financial models, and publish insightful equity/credit research notes, leveraging Bloomberg/CEIC/Cogencis and advanced Excel skills. MBA (Finance) or CA with 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant with relevant experience.
• 3–5 years in Industry/Economic/Equity or Credit research.
• Strong financial modelling and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake industry research based on secondary data and publish regular reports with actionable insights
• Monitor the macroeconomic environment and undertake fundamental research on the fiscal and monetary position
• Perform financial modelling and analysis of new and complex transaction structures
• Prepare company-specific equity/credit research notes
• Undertake ad-hoc projects for various stakeholders
• Develop and maintain databases for economic, industry, and company data
• Study regulatory developments and interpret IPO documents/credit agreements/bond indentures/other legal documents

Experience
