Job summary

Navya Mantra HR Consulting is seeking a Research Analyst to analyse fast-growing publicly traded companies and develop investment ideas for clients. You will maintain coverage lists, perform in-depth fundamental analysis and build financial models.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical, written and presentation skills, good knowledge of financial statements and proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. NISM certification is a plus; collaboration with the team is essential.

Qualifications

• Fundamental/financial analysis experience across publicly traded companies.
• Knowledge of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow and financial ratios.
• Strong analytical, written and presentation skills.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Analyse fast-growing and fundamentally sound publicly traded companies to identify good investment ideas for clients
• Maintaining an extensive coverage list of companies and keeping track of all the developments in those companies and/or sectors
• Conducting in-depth fundamental/financial analysis of companies and making Financial Models for the same
• Writing reports based on findings/developments and authoring reports containing actionable recommendations
• Reading industry journals, newspapers, magazines and online resources to remain updated with market/sector developments and updating clients
• Contributing to various research-related activities/reports
• Working in close co-ordination with other team members

Technical skills

• Good understanding of the sectors/companies under coverage
• Understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheet / P&L, Cash

Flows, etc.) and financial ratios used for analysing businesses

• Strong analytical, written, presentation and communication skills
• Diverse business and economic knowledge
• Expertise with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience having worked on software like ACE Equity, CapitalLine etc ,
• Should possess strong verbal and writing skills
