Job summary

adesso India is seeking a seasoned Requirements Engineer for an HRMS platform programme. You’ll work with HR stakeholders, architects and product owners to shape elicitation, modelling, documentation and change management.

You will define approaches, plan elicitation, model HR processes, produce specs and user stories, maintain traceability and enable audit-ready documentation in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of requirements engineering in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Hands-on with HR processes and HRMS platforms (hire-to-retire, payroll, leave, attendance).
• Understanding of data privacy obligations around employee data.
• IREB CPRE certification, or an equivalent business analysis qualification such as BABOK.
• Experience across Agile, Scrum and Waterfall delivery.
• Excellent written and spoken English; stakeholder facing role.

Own requirements engineering for an HRMS platform programme. You will work directly with HR business stakeholders, architects and product owners, shaping how requirements are gathered, running the elicitation, modelling the solution, documenting it clearly, and managing it through change.

Responsibilities

• Define the requirements engineering approach for the project.
• Plan and moderate elicitation with HR, payroll, compliance and line management stakeholders through interviews, workshops, surveys and observation.
• Consolidate input into structured, prioritised requirements with acceptance criteria.
• Model HR processes and solution flows using UML, BPMN, process and data models, wireframes and prototypes.
• Produce requirements documents, specifications, user stories, interface definitions and backlogs.
• Run the refinement cadence with the delivery team.
• Maintain traceability, versioning and change control, with audit ready documentation.
• Mediate conflicting stakeholder positions and explain complex topics to non technical HR users.

DEIN PROFIL

• Several years of requirements engineering in complex, multi stakeholder environments.
• Working knowledge of HR processes and HRMS platforms: hire to retire, employee master data, org structures, leave and attendance, payroll inputs, performance cycles, role based access. Hands on exposure to SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM or a comparable suite.
• Understanding of data privacy obligations around employee data and how they constrain requirements.
• IREB CPRE certification, or an equivalent business analysis qualification such as BABOK.
• Experience across Agile, Scrum and Waterfall delivery.
• Excellent written and spoken English. This is a stakeholder facing role.
• Analytical, structured, detail oriented, proactive, able to work independently.
