Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a CAE Analyst for our Pune team. The role involves FE model building for radiator cooling systems, fluid transfer tubes, fan shroud assemblies, and related components, using shell, tetra, hexa, and 1D beam elements for structural and thermal analysis.

Responsibilities include CFD flow analysis, model setup and post-processing of AC lines and chiller components, as well as preparing detailed reports and participating in daily client meetings to discuss requirements and

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in CAE simulations with FE and CFD techniques.
• Strong communication with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Build FE models for radiator cooling systems, tubes, and assemblies.
• Perform CFD mesh prep, model setup, and flow analysis.
• Prepare detailed simulation reports with results and insights.
• Conduct daily meetings with customers to discuss progress and deliverables.
• Coordinate task distribution and monitor milestones to ensure on-time delivery.

CAE Analyst

Location : Pune

Exp: 3-7Yrs

Software Used:

• ANSA FE & CFD pre-processing, meshing, model building
• Abaqus/ls-dyna Structural analysis
• ANSYS Fluent CFD / Flow analysis

Current role & Responsibilities:

• FE Model Building: Developed finite element models for radiator cooling systems, fluid transfer tubes, Fan shroud assemblies, chiller assemblies and AC line assemblies using shell, tetra, hexa, and 1D beam elements for structural and thermal analysis.(meshing tasks)
• Component Connectivity: Worked on tube-to-header connections, contacts, MPCs, coupling constraints, and creation of element/node/solid facet sets as per project requirements. (model building tasks)
• CFD Flow Analysis: Performed flow analysis of AC lines and chiller inlet/outlet lines, including CFD mesh preparation, model setup, post-processing, and evaluation of flow behavior, velocity distribution, and pressure drop.
• Simulation Reporting: Prepared detailed simulation and analysis reports with relevant model details and results
• Customer Communication: Conducted daily meetings with customers to discuss project progress, requirements, and deliverables.
• Task Management: Distributed tasks among team members, monitored progress, and ensured timely completion of project milestones
