Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; two year degree or higher preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in loan document preparation and/or document processing.
• Understanding of required documentation for term loans and collateral documentation.
• Ability to prioritize work on loan transactions to meet closing dates.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements for borrowers.
• Knowledge of state/federal lending laws and bank policies.
• Accurate data entry with PC and internet apps including LaserPro, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong multi-tasking, time management, thoroughness, and accuracy.
• Solid communication and organizational skills with teamwork.

• Ability to work under deadlines with frequent interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Process loan requests for both new and renewal loans using prescribed procedures.
• Make initial review of the approval, using available information and prepare closing documents.
• Prepare loan documents including Promissory Note, agreements, and checklists.
• Confirm loan approval authority per bank policy and review transaction details.
• Ensure initial documentation is present according to the approval.
• Review credit files and obtain additional documents as needed.
• Order supporting documentation from approved vendors and coordinate with loan officers.
• Enter renewals into loan software and align with servicing.
• Communicate results and any processing issues to the loan officer.
• Balance transactions and prepare tickets and cashier checks for disbursement.
• Prepare forms, tickets, and authorize wires for loan proceeds.
• Process post-closing and deliver closing packets to title company if needed.
• Assist with additional loan operation roles as requested.

The Position

Our bank reputed company is seeking to fill a reputed company Loan Processor role located in the Chicago, IL area. The position is responsible for the preparation, accuracy, and completeness of reputed company loan packages, using the Banks documentation reputed company and procedures. The candidate will be processing and preparing reputed company loan products, as assigned. reputed company has a generous salary of up to $65K and a full benefits package. Loan Processor responsibilities include

• Processing reputed company loan requests for both new and renewal loans using prescribed procedures and software.
• Making an initial review of the loan approval (Profile), using information available on the loan processing software reputed company and credit file, obtaining required information for reputed company, and preparing loan closing documents.
• Preparing reputed company necessary loan documents including Promissory Note, Business Loan Agreement, Construction Loan Agreement, Disbursement Request and Authorization, Resolutions, and Loan Checklist using information from the loan application, profile, and title policy.
• Confirming loan approval authority as defined by bank policy; review and obtain an understanding of the loan transaction from the Loan Profile.
• Determining that initial reputed company documentation is present according to the approval document.
• Reviewing credit files and determining additional documentation needs to support reputed company requirements, such as entity papers, credit reports, purchase reputed company, lien searches, title work, appraisal or evaluation, environmental questionnaire, survey, life insurance, and property liability insurance.
• Ordering supporting documentation from approved vendors and working with loan officers or customers as needed.
• Renewal loan processing includes entering the loan into loan software and working with the servicing loan officer to reputed company the approved credit to reputed company.
• Communicating results of documentation review and any processing issues to the loan officer on a reputed company reputed company.
