Job summary

FlexBoard is seeking an IT support professional to manage day-to-day endpoints, patching, and support while owning vulnerability management across devices, servers, and VDI. The role also involves integrating AI tools safely and understanding associated risks.

You will help teams adopt AI responsibly, explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and ensure rapid, reliable IT operations in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an IT support or IT operations role.
• Solid experience with identity management and MDM tools.
• Exposure to vulnerability scanning and risk interpretation.
• Familiar with AI tools in enterprise settings and risk considerations.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-directed with proactive initiative.
• Basic scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell.
• Experience with on-premise office IT setup and networking.

Responsibilities

• IT support: Be the first line of support for the organisation, resolve issues, hit SLAs, and keep operations smooth.
• Device lifecycle management: Deploy, configure, troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobiles, and VDIs; maintain configurations.
• Endpoints and servers: Ensure devices, endpoints, servers and VDI are up to date; manage patching.
• Vulnerability management: Run scans, interpret results, drive remediation to closure.
• Identity and access: Manage user accounts and rights; enforce least privilege.
• Threat prevention: Help implement controls, DLP, email security, and network controls.
• Asset management: Track what you have, where it is, and who has it.
• AI enablement: Support safe adoption of AI tools with proper guardrails.
