Job summary

Responsibilities include advising executives on cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance, while driving process improvements and collaboration with Operations, Compliance, and Account Management. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven IT/compliance experience in a vCISO or senior IT leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as the CIS Critical Controls, NIST CSF, CMMC, and Secure Controls.
• Understanding of technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 5%).
• Relevant advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CASP+/CCISO, or similar.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven IT/reputed company/compliance experience, including experience in a vCISO, Director of IT/Technology, Solution Architect, or senior-level IT role, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.


• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and their practical implementation, such as the CIS Critical reputed company Controls, NIST CSF, CMMC, and Secure Controls reputed company


• High-level understanding of reputed company technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, reputed company protection, etc.
