Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Renewable Energy Engineer to monitor and support renewable energy projects in India. You will coordinate with utilities, agencies, and contractors, review schedules and KPIs, conduct site visits, and help implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Applicants should have a BE/BTech in ME/EE (ME/MTech or MBA preferred), a minimum of four years in renewables, strong MS Office proficiency, and fluent English. On-site Delhi-based role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience working with renewable energy companies in India.
• Experience in renewable energy project implementation, monitoring, engineering, or management.
• Experience assisting state-owned power utilities/RE development agencies in project monitoring or management of at least one Renewable Energy Project.
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.

• Assist in monitoring and tracking the progress of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, hybrid, and other clean energy initiatives.
• Support project planning, implementation, commissioning, and operational monitoring activities.
• Coordinate with state-owned power utilities, renewable energy development agencies, contractors, consultants, and project developers.
• Review project schedules, technical specifications, progress reports, and key performance indicators.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and compliance with project requirements.
• Identify implementation challenges and recommend corrective actions.

We are seeking applications for the position of Renewable Energy Engineer for renewable Energy project.

Missions/Main Duties

Profile/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering from a recognized university.
• Master's Degree in Engineering (M.E./MTech); or
• MBA / master's degree in management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working with renewable energy companies in India.
• Experience in renewable energy project implementation, monitoring, engineering, or management.
• Experience of assisting state-owned power utilities/RE development agencies in project monitoring or management of at least one Renewable Energy Project.
• Good knowledge of MS office suite.
