Job summary

FlexBoard is seeking a senior credit professional to perform due diligence, analyze loan opportunities, and ensure compliance with policies in a remote India setting. You will lead credit narratives, coach analysts, and coordinate with lending partners to manage participations and capital market activities.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in agricultural and/or credit analysis, strong GAAP knowledge, and proven ability to work independently while collaborating across teams in a dynamic

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture business, business administration, finance, economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of agricultural and/or credit analysis experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of lending, finance, and industry practices and methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in cash flow and GAAP financial analysis; developing committee narratives, collaborating across deal teams, and mentoring team members.
  • Expert knowledge of financial statements and understanding income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
  • Ability to use discretionary judgment in making credit decisions and solving problems.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and other office software with the ability to create, update, and maintain documents.

Responsibilities

  • Performs comprehensive due diligence and analyzes financial, operational, and industry information for new loan originations, renewals, refinancings, and participation/syndication purchases.
  • Evaluate opportunities against portfolio risk, objectives, concentration limits, and strategic capital markets guidelines
  • Assesses prospective credit transactions for compliance with Association policies, credit policies, and risk management requirements
  • Reviews and approves or declines credit recommendations composed with delegated authority
  • Prepares comprehensive credit narratives based on independent due diligence, financial analysis, and evaluation of customer information
  • Prepares, recommendations, and approvals for delegated credit authority for servicing actions
  • Completes the servicing process for distressed credits, including loan reviews and ongoing borrower engagement
  • Ensures completion of annual reviews per credit policy and procedures by Capital Markets credit team
  • Reviews annual credit reports provided by lenders and verifies policy compliance
  • Develops and maintains stakeholder relationships and partnership strategies
  • Recommends and coordinates purchase and sale of participation loans
  • Coordinates sales activities with lending partners
  • Communicates and reports actions to participants
  • Develops and writes enhancements to Capital Markets policies and internal controls
  • Responds to audit information requests and liaises with auditors
  • Reviews and monitors capital market portfolios for FCA compliance
  • Leads and supports Credit Analysts through coaching and training
  • Provides operational support for setup and management of loan participations
  • Serves as a resource to Capital Markets Operations on credit impacts affecting servicing and reporting

Responsibilities
  • Performs comprehensive due diligence and analyzes financial, operational, and industry information for new loan originations, renewals, refinancings, and participation/syndication purchases.
  • Evaluate opportunities against portfolio risk-reputed company objectives, concentration limits, and strategic capital markets guidelines
  • Assesses prospective credit transactions for compliance with Association reputed company standards, credit policies, and risk management requirements
  • Reviews and approves or declines credit recommendations reputed company delegated authority
  • Recommends credit approval or denial to the Credit Committee for transactions exceeding delegated lending authority
  • Prepares comprehensive credit narratives based on independent due diligence, financial analysis, and evaluation of customer information, supporting loan recommendations and the proposed level of Association participation
  • Prepares, recommendations, and approvals reputed company delegated credit authority for servicing actions
  • Completes the servicing process for distressed credits, including loan reviews, reputed company plans, ongoing monitoring, and regular borrower and reputed company lender engagement
  • Ensures completion of annual reviews per credit policy and procedures by Capital Markets credit team
  • Reviews annual credit reports provided by reputed company lenders
  • Verifies the reviews are in accordance with Association policies and procedures and customer financial performance is acceptable
  • Develops and maintains effective communication, relationships and partnership strategies with key stakeholders
  • Recommends and coordinates the purchase and sale of participation loans
  • Coordinates sales activities with lending partners
  • Communicates and coordinates Association reputed company, actions and reporting to participant relationships
  • Develops, writes, and recommends enhancements to Capital Markets policies, procedures, and internal control reputed company
  • Responds to audit information requests, liaises directly with auditors, and collaborates with the Association Internal Auditor and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to address and reputed company audit findings and issues
  • Reviews and monitors capital market portfolio for compliance with Association and FCA
  • Leads and supports Credit Analysts through coaching, direction, and on-the-job training, fostering reputed company development and ensuring high-reputed company credit analysis
  • Provides operational support for the setup, administration, and ongoing management of sold and purchased loan participation interests
  • Serves as a subject matter resource to Capital Markets Operations by providing expertise on credit-reputed company impacts affecting reputed company, servicing, commitment management, and loan administration processes
  • Supports and collaborates with Capital Markets Operations staff to ensure reputed company and accurate preparation of reports, commitments, risk ratings, and other credit information
Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in reputed company, agricultural business, business administration, finance, economics, or reputed company field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of agricultural and/or reputed company credit analysis experience
