Job summary

reputed company is seeking a Senior Investment Management Specialist to provide proposals, research, and analytical support on investment strategies and products. The role supports investment risk, portfolio management, banking, and financial performance reporting.

The incumbent will help with asset allocation, performance monitoring, and regulatory submissions while developing committee materials for governance bodies. A CFA is preferred and a strong background in financial modeling is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5 years of experience with a solid understanding of investment management functions.
• Knowledge of financial reporting under GAAP.
• Strong understanding of systems, analytical tools, financial modeling, and data management.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire Investment Portfolio including asset allocation, credit, investment selection, and compliance.
• Monitor performance and investment manager selection for externally managed Corporate and Retirement assets.
• Maintain investment reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance of investment portfolios.
• Support planning and forecasting of the organization's Investment Income and Capital using portfolio data and yield modeling.
• Assist in treasury management functions for investment activities, banking, cash applications, and investment reconciliation.
• Support quarterly and annual submissions to regulatory agencies, including audits.
• Create Committee packages for Boards and Committees including Retirement and Finance Committees.
• Support routine reporting for senior management, auditors, and regulators.
• Conduct credit research including analyzing companies and maintaining credit files.
