CNH Industrial Group in India is seeking a senior Supplier Quality Engineer to manage all supplier quality activities for the INDIA region, covering Greater Noida, Pune and Pithampur. You will lead design reviews, confirm supplier technical feasibility and drive PPAP activities with global suppliers to ensure part quality and on-time delivery.

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for managing all Supplier Quality Engineering activities of INDIA region both for AG & CE. The plant locations covered are India – Greater Noida (AG), Pune (AG), Pithampur (CE)

Key Responsibilities

• Project review (New & Capacity Enhancement) & identification of potential suppliers.
• Design reviews, Supplier technical feasibility confirmation, technical review with suppliers for Process and controls.

Cost Reduction Projects & BCC Sourcing

• Increasing Gross Profit Margin (GPM) through cost reduction via. Alternate Sourcing, Benchmarking of best processes and Optimization.
• Managing timely part development as well as approvals for BCC support (Cost reduction initiatives through resourcing of parts driven by other region (EMEA, NAFTA, LATAM) with APAC based suppliers.

Global Strategic Sourcing Initiative

• Active participation in Strategic Sourcing Program to drive transformation across supply chain which involves:
• Part selection based on cost savings, viability, complexity, volume etc.
• Potential supplier identification (incumbent as well as new) for parts to create market baskets (mix of high volume-high spend parts with highly technical or low volume parts). Supplier finalization & further PPAP activities.

Current Product management

• Management of current product quality for suppliers delivered parts and to continually achieve and improve the key KPI’s like PIQ index, PPM & Supplier responsiveness for issue resolution and as well as quality of the responses.

Experience Required

• 25+ years of experience in Engineering Industry. Specific skills include product knowledge on Off Highway Product Line ( Agriculture and Construction Equipment) Quality Management and Quality systems

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma / B. Tech in Engineering. Preferred Mechanical Stream
