Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Coimbatore. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their financial protection needs, and recommending suitable life insurance solutions. Daily activities include meeting clients, explaining product features and benefits in a clear and ethical manner, handling queries, and ensuring a smooth onboarding and policy servicing experience. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to process applications, resolve service issues, and support renewals, as well as maintaining accurate records and customer follow-ups. The Relationship Manager will also contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities, participating in local marketing initiatives, and achieving defined sales and service targets.

• Sales and business development capabilities, such as prospecting, need-based selling, and achieving individual and team targets in a structured environment.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
• Organizational and follow-up skills, including maintaining accurate records, handling multiple client interactions, and meeting deadlines consistently.
• Basic financial and insurance awareness, with the ability to understand protection and savings products and match them to customer needs.
• Comfort working in an on-site, customer-facing role in Coimbatore, with a willingness to travel locally for client meetings as required.
• Proficiency in common office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or customer management systems).
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; prior experience in life insurance, banking, or financial services relationship management is an added advantage.
