Job summary

HDFC SKY in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Manager – Regional Training Manager to lead training delivery across multiple branches. The role strengthens employee capability through functional, behavioural, and digital learning interventions, requiring strong facilitation, content creation, and proficiency with Canva and AI-based tools.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, SMEs, HR, and operations to tailor programs, ensure consistency, and drive continuous improvement across the region.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience overall with minimum 3 years in financial services (broking, BFSI, wealth, insurance or related domains) in a sales training or capability-building role.
• Graduate or postgraduate in any discipline; certifications in L&D, facilitation, or instructional design advantageous.
• Experience handling multi-location training delivery and virtual sessions desirable.
• Basic proficiency in Canva, digital tools, and AI-based content creation platforms required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Training Delivery & Facilitation across branches, including inductions, refresher, functional, product, and behavioral sessions.
• Facilitate customer, partner, and B2B training as needed.
• Deliver learning across classroom and virtual formats (VILT).
• Travel regionally to support branches and ensure consistent training delivery.
• Collaborate with branch leadership to identify gaps and plan interventions.
• Create engaging training material: presentations, guides, short videos, assessments, digital modules.
• Refresh and modernize content for digital accessibility.
• Utilize Canva and AI tools to improve design and delivery of learning materials.
• Support Train-the-Trainer programs with easy-to-use content and smooth digital experiences.
• Maintain training MIS, attendance, feedback, and assessments; ensure audit-ready documentation.

The Senior Manager – Regional Training Manager will be based out of Mumbai and will lead training delivery across multiple branches in the assigned region. The role is responsible for strengthening employee capability through functional, behavioural, and digital learning interventions. The position requires strong facilitation skills (classroom and virtual), content creation capability, and proven experience within the financial services industry

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Facilitation

• Conduct Induction, Refresher, Functional, Product, and Behavioral training sessions for employees.
• Facilitate training for customers, channel partners, and B2B stakeholders when required.
• Deliver learning effectively across both classroom and virtual (VILT) formats.
• Travel across the region to support branches, conduct sessions, and ensure consistent training delivery
• Partner with branch leadership to identify gaps and recommend suitable training interventions
• Create clear, engaging training material—presentations, guides, short videos, assessments, and simple digital modules.
• Refresh and modernize existing content so it is easy to understand and accessible in digital formats.
• Use tools like Canva and other AI-based tools to improve the quality, design, and delivery of learning material.
• Support Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs by preparing easy-to-use content and helping design smooth digital learning experiences.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Product Managers, SMEs, Operations, HR, and internal trainers to ensure accurate, updated training delivery
• Build strong working relationships with regional/branch managers to understand business priorities and capability needs.
• Communicate training plans, outcomes, and feedback effectively to leadership and stakeholders.

Process & Documentation

• Maintain training MIS, reports, attendance, participant feedback, and assessments.
• Ensure documentation is audit-ready and aligned to internal compliance standards.
• Track training effectiveness and share insights for continuous improvement.

Training & Facilitation Skills

• Strong facilitation skills across physical classrooms as well as virtual platforms (VILT)
• Ability to engage participants and simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Experience delivering behavioral and soft-skills training is prefered.

Content Development & Digital Skills

• Ability to create simple, engaging, and visually appealing digital training content.
• Working knowledgeof Canva and comfort using AI tools for content creation, visuals, and basic video elements.
• Familiarity with LMS usage and digital learning platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management capability.
• High level of ownership, planning, and organizational ability to manage multiple branches.

Qualifications & Experience Mandatory
