Job summary

Job description

Role Overview:-

The Regional Sales Manager (North) is responsible for driving primary and secondary sales growth, expanding the retail distribution network, and maximizing market share for the companys waterproofing and construction chemical products (e.g., tile adhesives, grouts, waterproofing coatings and sealants) across the Northern region (typically Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand). The role requires a blend of strategic channel management, team leadership, and deep understanding of retail dynamics in the building materials sector.

Experience & Background:-

• Experience: 8-10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a regional leadership role.


• Industry Background: Mandatory experience in Construction Chemicals, Waterproofing, Paints & Coatings, or Building Materials (specifically with exposure to retail/channel sales).


• Geographical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the North Indian market dynamics, established dealer networks, and regional languages.

Skills & Competencies:-

• Strong acumen in distributor handling, retail sales, and secondary sales management.


• Proven ability to build and scale influencer (mason/contractor) networks.


• Excellent analytical skills for sales forecasting, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making.


• Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Educational Qualification:-

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil/Chemical) or Science.


• An MBA in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.
