Job summary

Savino Del Bene in Chennai invites an experienced logistics professional to lead customer service and operations for Ocean and Air imports/exports. You will build client relationships, understand supply chain needs, and craft proposals to meet requirements while coordinating with global offices.

Exports experience and strong communication in English and Hindi (plus regional language) are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor or MBA degree.
• Experience in Customer Service & Operations.
• Exports experience is required.
• Good communication skills in English, Hindi & respective regional language, both oral and written.
• Confident, self-driven and a team player.

• Form a customer base by establishing communication with prospective clients, understanding their supply chain needs and building out proposals to meet their requirements.
• Solicit our client’s services which include Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Ocean Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
• Meet the monthly goals given by management.
• Maintain consistent communication with our client’s Operations/Customer Service Departments and overseas offices.
