Rotork is seeking a Regional Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager – APAC based in India to lead HSE across APAC sites and business areas. You will partner with regional leadership to implement global HSE strategy, governance, and standards while driving risk management and continuous improvement.
The role focuses on occupational safety, process safety, environmental protection and compliance with ISO standards, supporting multiple countries and operations within the APAC region.

Based in India, this role has regional responsibility for HSE across APAC, supporting multiple sites and business areas.
The Regional Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager – APAC is the regional representative of the Global HSE function and a strategic business partner to Regional Leadership Teams, Business Areas and local operations. The role supports the implementation of Rotork's Global HSE strategy, governance framework and standards across the region, ensuring HSE is integrated into business decision‑making and operational activities.
The role provides governance, assurance and expert support on occupational safety, process safety, environmental protection and critical risk management, while driving collaboration, best‑practice sharing and continuous improvement to enhance HSE performance, compliance and organisational resilience.

What you’ll bring
Experience & capability
Significant HSE leadership (5+ years) experience within complex multinational organisations, supporting manufacturing and field‑service operations across multiple countries.
Experience partnering with business leaders and HSE professionals to drive HSE performance, manage risk and implement governance frameworks.
Experience within high‑risk industries such as engineering, manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, power generation, chemicals, construction or other high‑hazard environments.
Strong knowledge of occupational safety, process safety and critical risk management, including critical control implementation and assurance.
Experience developing, implementing and improving ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems, supported by audit and assurance experience.
Good understanding of international HSE legislation, regulatory requirements and industry standards across the APAC region.
Experience leading incident investigations and applying root cause analysis techniques for significant and high‑potential events.
Experience using HSE reporting systems, performance data and digital tools to support decision‑making and continuous improvement.
Strong business partnering and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and challenge leaders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate HSE strategy, governance requirements and business priorities into practical outcomes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across regions, functions and cultures.
Strong governance, assurance and critical risk management capability, with a pragmatic and risk‑based approach.
Ability to coach and support Business Area HSE representatives and local HSE professionals.
Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
Effective at managing multiple priorities in a complex, multinational environment.
High levels of credibility, resilience and professional judgement within high‑risk operational environments.
