Job summary

Ferrero in India seeks a Third Party Operations Manager to lead outsourced CoPack/CoMan production, drive efficiency, and ensure safety and quality. You will coordinate with Central 3PO, manage budgets and data reporting, and align with Ferrero guidelines to deliver on-time production and performance targets while supporting continuous improvement across the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Third Parties’ production to ensure volumes, costs, and performance meet standards.
• Assess and implement optimal production cycles for each product line to reduce cost and optimize output.
• Lead optimization of cost and production flow through Ferrero best practices in the 3PO network and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote production and maintenance expertise exchange and best-practice adoption.
• Establish and enforce procedures for data collection and timely reporting into systems and dashboards.

About the Role:

This role has a main responsibility and accountability of operations management in all Third Partiesfocusing onIndustrialand commercialCoPack and future CoManin RegionIndiatoensure

i) timely start up of operations

ii) operational excellence following Ferrero’s requirements and

iii) quality and timely production delivery to support business needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
• Supervise Third Parties’production to ensure volumes,costs,performance with standards
• Assess and implement the right production cycles for each product line to optimize cost & o/p
• Drive optimization of the cost & production flow/process plan through adoption of Ferrero’s best practices in 3PO network & identify continuous improvement
• Promote production/maintenance expertise exchange & best practice adoption
• Establish & enforce procedures to ensure proper data collection & timely report into system
• Effective issue resolution & risk mgmt. through proactive and timely escalation involving stakeholders
• PRODUCTION SCHEDULING
• Short-term:ensure Third-Party delivers production volume as planned and provides timely feedback to stakeholders
• Mid to Long-term:strong collaboration with Category/Area Ops/Plant Ops Planning to provide timely 3PO capacity feedback
• Risk mitigation plans in discussion with planning team for any disruption and timely communication with 3rd parties for seasonal as well as regular variants
• THIRD-PARTY DEVELOPMENT
• Collaboration with Central 3PO-I to support scouting,3PO reco and feasibility phases of CoMan projects
• Co-lead + manage industrialization phase of new CoMan to ensure 3PO readiness per project timeline
• Lead, manage and collaborate with 3PO and relevant stakeholders to conduct assessment,feasibility,implementation of efficiency/continuous improvement projects in existing CoPack
• Provides,align,and implement the right “Business Blueprint” for the new Third Party in line with Ferrero’s and Central 3PO guidelines
• Provides proactive,timely,holistic,and transparent risk assessment & feedback to Local/Central stakeholders throughout all development cycle
• THIRD-PARTY RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
• Primary referent to build & manage strong and productive relationship between Ferrero and Third Parties
• Strong collaboration with 3PO Procurement (responsible for commercial negotiation) to prepare, align and approve new/renewal contracts following Ferrero policies and best practices
• Motivate, assist and support management and team of Third Parties in their own professional development toward improvement of service and performance with Ferrero
• Actively participate in assessing Third-Party performance based on the agreed Operations service level and provide gap-fill action plans
• COMPLIANCE
• Strong leadership and management to ensure all Ferrero’s mandatory basic certifications and key requirements are in place and followed in all Third-Parties.
• SMETA
• Ensures yearly audit and Proactive sharing of progress to relevant stakeholders
• Strong collaboration with 3PO to track action audit findings
• FSQ (Food Safety & Quality)
• Ensures the food safety and quality control of the Third Parties products and processes in line with Ferrero FSQ policy/guidelines applicable
• H&S (Health & Safety)
• Provide guidance to Third Parties to ensure compliance based on Ferrero H&S policy/guidelines
• Strong collaboration with 3PO to ensure action plans are in place and completion is tracked for all audit findings/self-assessment outcomes
• GRC and Sustainability
• Lead, manage, collaborate to support Ferrero’s targets and agenda
• TRACKING AND REPORTING
• BUDGET/PS
• Participate in negotiations with Third Parties to ensure that budget objectives are achieved at the best possible level
• Analysis of monthly variances with local and central 3PO controllers, provide explanation of points related to Third Parties production
• SQCDME KPI
• Adopt same KPIs and targets agreed at Central 3PO
• Track, analyze, report, KPIs in central databases and provide Root Cause Analysis(RCA)
• PROJECTS
• Report progress periodically in central databases and in Area/Central 3PO Board Meetings

Education:

• Degree in any discipline.

Experience:

• 8-15 years of experience preferably in FMCG or Food Manufacturing Industry.
