Job summary

Pepper is seeking a Reddit Lead to own Reddit strategy and execution across a set of customer accounts, working within our Organic Growth pods. You will decide where brands should show up, how they should participate, and how Reddit feeds both search visibility and pipeline.

You’ll have playbooks, AI workflows, and a sharp team behind you. Bring hands-on Reddit experience, understanding of Reddit’s role in Google and AI search, and strong writing that sounds human, helpful, and on-brand.

Reddit has quietly become one of the most important of them: it’s where buyers go for real opinions, it ranks all over Google, and it’s one of the most‑cited sources in AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.

We’re looking for a Reddit Lead to own this channel for our customers, building authentic, valuable presence that earns trust, visibility, and demand. If you understand Reddit culture from the inside and know how to show up the right way, this one’s for you.

About the role

As Reddit Lead, you’ll own Reddit strategy and execution across a set of customer accounts, working inside our Organic Growth pods. You’ll decide where each brand should show up, how it should participate, and how Reddit feeds both search visibility and pipeline. You’ll have playbooks, AI workflows, and a sharp team behind you.

What you’ll do

• Own each customer’s Reddit strategy: which subreddits matter, how to participate, and what "good" looks like
• Build authentic presence that adds value to communities: not spam, not obvious marketing
• Identify and join the conversations where buyers are already discussing the category, the problem, and the alternatives
• Plan and run formats that work on Reddit: genuinely helpful answers, AMAs, founder participation, and well‑placed brand content
• Use Reddit as a listening engine: surface real customer language, objections, and content ideas for the wider pod
• Track what’s working and report it clearly to customers

Go deep on Reddit and its role in search

This is the heart of the role:

• Understand Reddit culture and the unwritten rules of each community, so brands earn goodwill instead of backlash
• Know how Reddit threads rank in Google and get cited by AI engines, and shape participation so our customers show up in both
• Build a point of view on community‑led growth and how it compounds over time
• Balance brand goals with what communities actually want, keeping presence credible and sustainable
