Job summary

ATC in Chennai is seeking a Career Counsellor to join our US IT staffing team. You’ll engage with IT professionals, understand their goals, and guide them toward the right opportunities.

You will source candidates using major job portals, review resumes, coordinate interviews, and maintain candidate data in internal systems while learning US staffing concepts such as W2, C2C, 1099, and work authorization. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in US staffing or IT recruitment preferred; freshers with strong communication are welcome.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Willingness to work in US shifts (CST) and learn US staffing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recommend suitable opportunities based on profiles and client needs.
• Source candidates using Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and internal databases.
• Review resumes and conduct initial discussions to assess fit and expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and candidate communications.
• Work with Senior Counsellors, Recruiters, and Account Managers to support client requirements.
• Maintain accurate candidate information in internal systems.
• Learn US staffing concepts such as W2, C2C, 1099, and work authorization.

You will work closely with candidates, recruiters, and account managers while gaining hands-on experience in US staffing, technical recruitment, and the US hiring process.

• 0 -1 year of experience in US staffing, IT recruitment, technical recruitment, or career counseling is preferred.
• Freshers with strong communication skills and an interest in US recruitment are welcome to apply.
