Alagappa Multispecialty Hospital, part of Alagappa Group, seeks an experienced Medical Superintendent to lead clinical operations and medical administration across the hospital. The role supports expansion from outpatient to full inpatient care, NICU/PICU readiness, and the planned medical college, driving NABH readiness, regulatory compliance and quality improvements.

Competenze

• MBBS with MD / MS / DNB in a clinical discipline; a qualification in Hospital Administration (MHA / MBA-HA) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience, including at least 5 years in a senior hospital administration role.
• Prior experience as Medical Superintendent or Deputy Medical Superintendent in a teaching hospital or medical college is preferred; eligibility as per prevailing NMC norms is desirable.
• Valid registration with the National Medical Commission / Tamil Nadu Medical Council.
• Working knowledge of NABH standards and healthcare regulations.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills.

• Lead and coordinate the medical staff, including duty rosters, on-call schedules, credentialing and clinical privileging.

Position Overview

Alagappa Multispecialty Hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Superintendent to lead clinical operations and medical administration across the hospital.

The hospital is expanding from outpatient services into full inpatient care, supported by PICU and NICU facilities. The institution is also planning to establish a medical school within the upcoming year, and the Medical Superintendent will play a central role in building a teaching hospital that meets regulatory and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Work Schedule
